I chose this photo as the inspiration for this 4th of July card. Since I was working on a dark bg, I used gold and white EPs for the "outlines". The shading/highlights on the jar were done with white acrylic paint. The flags came from cocktail toothpicks and were the right scale.

Oh, I love this patriotic card, Sallie. The white acrylic paint was just perfect for the sheen on the jar. Good idea, too, with the toothpicks.

Fabulous card - love the use of the flags from cocktail sticks! Pretty bit of sparkle on the gold stars and great shading on the jar - thanks for the suggestion of using white acrylic paint for that.
